I served as Minister of Music from 2001 -2013 at the New Creation Church in San Diego.
During my time I was blessed and privileged to bring in and play with the great Steven Mckinney and Kevin Henderson on drums
A few years ago I tipped in the back and caught them still doing their thing!
Steven Mckinney is not just one of the best bass players in San Diego, but he is one of the best in the country!

Just taught Micah how to play this and in 15 minutes he pretty much had it. You can hear me telling him where to go but he pretty much remembered the pattern without much direction from me. Watch your back Steven :-)

I have been working with Micah for months on the bass. After months of wax on wax off and paint the fence, (karate kid) he is just now discovering he is actually learning how to play music ;-) This is the first time he is applying what he has learned in the context of "playing a song".... Please pray for me as I continue to go Joe Jackson on these kids!!!

So good to here the Blake men following in Bishop J.A Blake Sr. I here there daddy preaching. This is a family I know live the bible doctrines of the Message of The Cross is the only way to live. I walk extremely close to the Blake families because of Daddy Blake.
